RECOMMENDATIONS TO KEEP YOUR PRODUCT LOOKING ITS BEST OVER THE YEARS
GENERAL CLEANING GUIDELINES
When using upholstery cleaners, carefully follow all instructions and avoid over-application.We recommend pre-testing for color loss and compatibility by applying a small amount to a hidden section of fabric.
For mixed cleaning solutions, dilute with distilled water. Take care to prevent over-saturation.
When spot cleaning your upholstery, use an absorbent, undyed cloth and a blotting motion. Move from the outer edge toward the center of stains to avoid ring formation.
Never use a hard-bristled brush on your upholstery and avoid scrubbing or over-rubbing fabrics, as this could damage fibers.
CARE FOR FABRIC UPHOLSTERY
Routine cleaning can be done using a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment, being as gentle as possible.
Prior to spot cleaning, absorb excess liquid using a clean, undyed cloth.
Treat minor stains with a solution of 1 cup water and ¼ teaspoon clear, mild detergent. Lightly spray affected areas and blot with a clean, undyed cloth.
Rinse thoroughly with water to remove residue, then air dry.
CARE FOR WOOD AND VENEER PARTS
Our wood collections are sealed with lacquer, adding a protective (but not indestructible) barrier, and can be easily spot cleaned using mild soap, water, and a soft, undyed cloth as needed. Dry immediately to prevent marks from forming.
Occasionally dust lacquered wood surfaces with a soft, dry cloth and non-wax furniture polish to keep finishes looking their best.
For best results, follow instructions for all cleaning products carefully and do not over apply. Do not use abrasives, harsh, corrosive chemicals, or care products containing ammonia or silicone, as these could damage finishes and surfaces.
To prevent moisture damage (like water rings), wipe up spills immediately with a soft, dry, undyed cloth.
Protect surfaces from incidental marks (like scratching, scorching, and water stains) by using coasters, trivets, felt pads, and non-plastic mats. Never place hot dishes or equipment directly on wood surfaces.
When assembling wood furniture, avoid overtightening hardware as this could cause cracking.
When moving wooden furniture, it is essential to lift it rather than drag it. Dragging may loosen the joinery and lead to damage.
Avoid placing indoor furniture in direct sunlight or near sources of heat or moisture, as this could cause cracking or changes in finishes.
Kindly ensure the furniture is positioned on a level plane. An uneven base may cause frame warping due to unbalanced stress accumulation.
Do not lean back in chairs and avoid using chair stretchers or table pedestals as footrests.
CARE FOR MARBLE AND TRAVERTINE
For spot cleaning, wipe the surface with a damp cloth moistened in mild soapy water, then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Surfaces can be cleaned occasionally with products specially formulated for stone. For the best results, carefully follow the instructions for all products and do not over apply.
Do not use window cleaners or products containing lemon, vinegar, or other acidic agents, as these may damage your stone.
Protect your stone surfaces from accidental marks (such as scratching, scorching, and water stains) by using coasters, trivets, felt pads, and non - plastic mats.
CARE FOR METALS
Metal surfaces should be regularly dusted with a soft, dry cloth to remove loose debris or particulate matter.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. Promptly wipe up any spills with a soft, dry cloth.
Refrain from using care products containing ammonia or silicone, as these may damage metal finishes. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh, corrosive chemicals, as they can scratch or mar the surface.
Prevent incidental damage (such as scratching, scorching, or water stains) by using coasters, heat-resistant trivets, felt pads, and non-plastic mats. Never place hot dishes or equipment directly on metal surfaces.
